
ADVISOR WORKS PROSPECTING SEMINAR SERVICE
Prospect Seminar Service: Obtaining new quality clients is perhaps the most challenging part of the Financial Services business. It is an essential yet not critical part of the practice. Prospecting seminars require time, effort and the attention of either staff or the Advisor. Allow Advisor Works to guide you through the maze of prospect seminars. After a 20-30 minute phone call with the Advisor to decide on the type of seminar, presentation, budget, location and number of guests required, Advisor Works will do it all. We will create the invitation and seminar presentation and once approved by the Advisor, we will see it through to compliance approval. Advisor Works will also arrange a mail drop for your invitation based on the household determinants the Advisor requests, area and number of guests wanted to attend. We will also find a location, set up the meeting room, arrange for refreshments. Advisor Works will create a questionnaire for each of the guests to complete including their contact details. The Advisor must show up at the event 30 minutes prior to guests arriving ready to be sociable and do the compliance approved presentation. AW will be available until the last guest has left. Advisor Works will follow up with each guest to arrange a meeting with the Advisor.

Prospect Seminar Service Setup Process:
- Initial Advisor Works Consultation.
- Complete long version of questionnaire providing details of Advisor, office, staff and families of each; also any specific info particular to their office situation.
- Agreement for frequency of seminar(s), type of seminar, specifics of mail drop, location etc.
- Topic Option Selected: Retirement, Estate Planning, Tax Minimization, Wealth Management; Other (additional fee may apply)
- Level of Event: Basic—Continental type (coffee/tea, pastry); Cocktail: Wine, Beer, cheese/crackers; Premium: sit down dinner.
- Participation events can also be arranged; wine tasting, gardening techniques; golf pro lessons, cooking events, tours in restricted places, etc.
- Guest speaker for additional cost.
Advisor Works Prepares Seminar
- Seminar presentation to be completed (one week).
- Advisor approves presentation.
- Advisor Works submits presentation to Compliance (on approved dealer templates).
- Invitation completed & submitted to Advisor.
- Advisor approves invite.
- Advisor Works submits invite to Compliance and manages process thru to approval.
- Advisor's staff provides list of guests to be invited.
- Advisor Works will source location, provide seating options, menu options, depending on level of event selection.
- Advisor Works will mail out invites, provide a service for guests to RSVP to and follow up with each guest prior to event for two major reasons; to remind them of the event and to confirm again their attendance to avoid unnecessary expense for no shows.
Day of the Event
- An Advisor Works event planner will attend event to ensure it runs smoothly.
- Advisor to arrive at event location 30 minutes prior to start time.
- Advisor Works representative will review the event schedule and provide any final instructions.
- Advisor delivers presentation and instructs attendees to complete survey/questionnaire for draw.
After the Event
- Advisor to provide scheduled meeting times.
- Advisor Works will follow up with attendees to book meetings at agreed up times with Advisor.
