Client Newsletters: Newsletters are another great way to speak to your clients and prospects. It also conveys that you are in touch with what is going on in the world and various economies. Providing an update that you are consistently monitoring these changing situations and how they might affect clients’/prospects’ financial life provides clients with reassurance that you are looking out for them. The newsletter also provides another opportunity to “touch” your client and open the door for further conversations with prospects.
Advisor Works will prepare a customized personal newsletter for your clients. This process involves one 20-30 minute call at the beginning of each month to discuss custom content. Advisor Works will prepare the newsletter by combining custom content with the current month's Advisor Works newsletter to create a custom newsletter for your clients. The newsletter will be written in first person and have the appearance of a personally written newsletter. See below for a sample

Client Newsletter Setup Process:
- Initial Advisor Works Consultation
- Complete long version of questionnaire providing details of Advisor, office, staff and families of each; also any specific info particular to their office situation
- Agreement for frequency of newsletter; options: monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly. Includes Confidentiality Agreement.
Monthly Updates
- Monthly scheduled call to discuss custom Advisor specific personal content 20-30 minutes each month. Example: practice developments, new staff hired, upcoming events, family members birthday, new pet, personal goals, new years resolution, etc. Personal information should be designed to create a personal connection with clients.
- 1st version of newsletter will be returned to Advisor within 3 days.
- One revision included. Deadline is day following receipt of 1st version.
- Final version of newsletter returned to Advisor next day.
- Once Advisor has approved newsletter, Advisor Works will submit to Dealer Compliance and manage through to approval
If Sending by Mail
- Staff to provide a complete mailing list at start of contract with any updates (additions/deletions) monthly
- Staff to provide compliance approved envelopes with return address
- Advisor Works to print labels
- Once newsletter Compliance approved, printing will be completed by Advisor Works, then mailed
If Sending by Email
- Advisor Works will provide compliance approved newsletter in PDF format.
- Advisor Works can mail via 3rd party email service (reply to address set to advisor) OR Advisor Works can send via email on Advisors behalf
